The chassis for the Car of Tomorrow
The chassis for old version of the car shown at the Hendrick Museum.
I was fortunate enough to get tours from Roush Fenway Racing and Hendrick Motorsports. At Roush, Jamie Rodway showed me how the chassis, which is the skeleton that supports the rest of the car and protects the driver, is put together. Mark Thoreson at Hendrick Motorsports explained the process of hanging the body, which is putting on all of the sheet metal.
